Not what we wanted to hear?

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

John 14:1

Today, Melinda had a follow-up appointment with her oncologist. He finally finished his move from Austin Cancer Center to Texas Oncology. The staff at Texas Oncology-Austin Midtown were very friendly and welcoming. They even managed to get blood out of Melinda on the first try which is always a blessing.

The oncologist pulled up the results of Melinda’s latest MRI and unfortunately it shows two spots. We discussed treatment options. Melinda did not do well with the last round of chemo that came in a pill. He is going to try a new chemo treatment that will require her to have a port installed. The good news is they can draw blood from it as well as administer the chemo, so at least she will not be getting poked in the arms numerous times when they need blood.

We are going to continue with the radiologist at Austin Cancer Center. We will visit him sometime next week to discuss the radiation treatments.

Overall it was not we had hoped to hear, but we plan to not let our hearts be troubled and just leave it in the hands of the Almighty. I truly do not know how we would make it without Jesus to lean on. If you don’t know Jesus we would be love to share the GOSPEL with you.
Remember Jesus Saves!!!
